2026 Recycling Events
Cayuga County currently has some events scheduled for 2026.

Cayuga County Recycling Events
Spring Electronics Recycling Event - March 21, 2026 - Registration is required
Tire Recycling Day - Residential Tires -
June 6, 2026 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am
All tires that are less than 30” in outside diameter are $2.00/tire.
Tires larger than 30”, but smaller than 36” in outside diameter
are $5/tire.
Tires both on and off rim are accepted
Limit of 40 tires per truckload.
Cayuga County residents only - proof of residency required
No businesses – PLEASE
Household Hazardous Waste Day - September 12, 2026 - (Registration is required)
Fall Electronics Recycling - The Cayuga County Dept. of Planning, in partnership with Cornell Cooperative Extension of Cayuga, will be hosting an Electronics Recycling Event on
October 17, 2026 - Registration is required
